Film Florida has announced that its next quarterly meeting will take place on December 11 and 12, 2025, in Orlando. The meetings are scheduled to be held at Eola View, located at 150 E. Central Blvd, with accommodations available for attendees at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown, three blocks away.

The event will include committee and council meetings exclusive to Film Florida members on Thursday, followed by a Women in Film & Television Florida Jingle Mingle event in the evening. On Friday morning, a continental breakfast for members will precede a Board of Directors meeting, which is open to the public.

Attendees who cannot join in person will have access to Zoom capabilities for all sessions. Those interested in participating virtually are instructed to email info@filmflorida.org for call-in details.

In addition to the scheduled meetings and networking opportunities, Film Florida is encouraging those attending in person to bring an unwrapped toy or gift. These donations will be given to a Central Florida organization during the holiday season. A 50/50 raffle is also planned during the meetings; tickets can be purchased by both in-person and virtual participants. “The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the Board of Directors Meeting. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing. The raffle winner will receive 50% of the money collected, the other 50% will go to the Film Florida grant and scholarship fund.”

Hotel rooms are available at a group rate of $199 per night plus taxes until November 19 or until sold out. Parking is offered for $24 per day per car. Hotel guests can use amenities such as a pool and fitness center and enjoy complimentary daily breakfast.

Individuals who wish to participate in member-only meetings but are not yet members are invited to join through Film Florida’s membership program.

“We hope you will participate, either in person or virtually, we plan on having a very productive few days. Thank you for your continued support and engagement!”
