MemberAssist has been introduced as a new support service for members of the Florida Education Association (FEA). The program is designed to help educators and staff manage daily stress by handling various personal and professional tasks. According to the announcement, MemberAssist allows users to delegate activities such as understanding benefits, comparing insurance options, booking appointments, planning vacations, or finding local services.

The service promises direct human assistance rather than automated systems. “A real person will handle it for you. No phone trees. No runaround. Just the support you need, when you need it,” the release states.

MemberAssist is offered free of charge to FEA members, while it typically costs $948 per year for others. The initiative aims to give education professionals more time to focus on their core responsibilities by reducing their workload outside the classroom.

“MemberAssist is the extra set of hands you need.Because supporting you every day is how we strengthen your union, together,” according to the statement from FEA.

The program highlights that its assistants are real people dedicated to fulfilling time-consuming tasks on members’ personal “To Do” lists.
