The Florida Medical Association (FMA) hosted medical students and residents from around the state at its Tallahassee office on Tuesday for the annual Days at the Capitol event. The visit took place as the Florida Legislature was in session.

Participants included members of the FMA’s Medical Student Section (MSS) and Resident & Fellow Section (RFS). They visited the state Capitol to observe the legislative process and learn how the FMA advocates for physicians licensed in Florida.

The FMA expressed appreciation for those who attended, stating, “We thank all of our participants for bringing their energy and enthusiasm to this year’s event!”
