The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has released the results for the July 2025 General Bar Examination, according to an announcement from Chair Timothy Danninger of Jacksonville. The Supreme Court of Florida approved the release of these results.
A total of 2,152 first-time applicants sat for the full Bar Examination on July 29-30, 2025, in Tampa. Of those, 1,687 passed, resulting in a passage rate of 78.4 percent for first-time test takers.
The Bar Examination is made up of several parts: Part A and Part B of the General Bar Examination as well as the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. Some candidates take only one section if they are retaking the exam or transferring a passing Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) score from another state. In such cases, applicants may only need to complete Part A of the Florida exam. More detailed information about partial and repeat test takers can be found at floridabarexam.org.
