In recent developments in South Florida’s real estate sector, several firms have announced new leadership appointments and expanded their teams.

Fontainebleau Development has named Raj Mohan as vice president and managing director for the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura. According to a press release, Mohan previously served as managing director of Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa with Pyramid Global Hospitality. The Saddlebrook property spans 485 acres and features two golf courses, 43 tennis courts, and a sports academy. Mohan has also held resort operations roles at hotels in Aruba, Jamaica, China, and Canada. In his new position, he will focus on guest experience and business growth opportunities.

Linkvest Capital has added three members to its board of directors: Eddy Arriola, Nicolás Santos, and Juan David Perdomo. Linkvest is an alternative investment firm based in Miami and led by principal Camilo Niño. Arriola is CEO of Arriola & Co., and formerly founded Apollo Bank, which was sold to Seacoast National Bank in 2022. Santos is a founding partner at Ikalon in Bogotá, while Perdomo leads Vision Planning Group, also based in Bogotá.

Compass has recruited two South Florida real estate teams. Galleria International Realty from Fort Lauderdale joins Compass with 71 agents who will work out of the Las Olas Boulevard office. The team was founded by Patricia Anglero in 2009 and has closed over $2 billion in sales since inception.

Additionally, Compass brought on the Andrade Group—a team of 29 agents led by Jorge Andrade and Henny Barreto—which reports $50 million in annual sales volume. This group will operate from Compass’ Coconut Grove and Winter Park offices with a focus on markets across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Orange counties.

Serhant announced that agent Veronica Peters has joined its Delray Beach office after leaving Premier Estate Properties where she worked since 2021 as a Boca Raton-based agent. Peters has completed more than $88 million in career sales according to her LinkedIn profile.

Weiss Law welcomed Andy Gross as Of Counsel. Gross previously worked at Gross Simon PLLC where he contributed to projects such as W Fort Lauderdale and Infinity at Brickell in Miami.
