Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, near Naples, has announced plans for a multi-million-dollar renovation of its meeting and event spaces. The project is set to begin in mid-July and is expected to be completed by early fall.
Rhett Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, stated, “We are incredibly excited to introduce these reimagined spaces later this year, designed to inspire and connect. By capturing the essence of our serene natural setting, this project will enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the spaces with nods to our surrounding environment, offering an ideal backdrop to drive meaningful meetings and elegant event experiences.”
The renovation will use colors inspired by the coastal setting such as ocean blues, deep greens, and sandy beige. Updates include new carpeting, wall coverings, artwork reflecting the gulf-side location, as well as lighting upgrades like a mesh chandelier in the Estero Ballroom and Preciosa lighting installations with opalescent glasswork.
The Calusa Ballroom Terrace will receive new pavers and lighting upgrades along with integrated turf and redesigned landscaping. The registration desk area will have a digital signage display framed by custom wood millwork. Meeting space restrooms will be updated with stone tones, greens, blues, wooden vanities, and modern fixtures.
These renovations follow recent updates at the resort: a full guestroom renovation in 2022; redesigns at Tarpon Bay restaurant; enhancements to the water park in 2023; and a renovated Tanglewood – A Southern Kitchen that opened in 2024.
The resort offers 82,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. Outdoor venues include Belvedere Terrace with fountains and waterfalls; Banyan Courtyard with live oak trees; Royal Palm; Cypress Courtyards; plus indoor options like Calusa Ballroom (14,000 square feet), Estero Ballroom (7,000 square feet), Blue Heron room, Great Egret room with tropical views through floor-to-ceiling windows; as well as The Cove private dining room at Tarpon Bay restaurant.
Guests can access Big Hickory Island within the Estero Bay Ecological Preserve for private island experiences. The resort also works with Global Works Events for off-site activities such as deep sea fishing trips or kayak excursions through mangroves.
More information about booking meetings or events is available on their website or by phone.
