The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is reminding members that the deadline to register for the September 2025 Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP) is approaching. The program will take place at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland from September 21 to 26, 2025.

Registrations must be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP is organized by the IAM Retirees and Membership Assistance Department. It provides resources and education for retired and nearly retired members on issues affecting their lives. The program aims to give retirees skills and resources so they can assist others with matters such as organizing Retirees Clubs, legislative strategies, Social Security and Medicare programs, developing action plans for retiree clubs, participating in Alliance for Retired Americans activities, and recruiting volunteer organizers among retired members.

For questions about the program, individuals are encouraged to contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717.
