A holiday-themed market inspired by European Christmas traditions is scheduled to take place on Marco Island this November. The event, called Marco’s First Old World Christmas Bazaar Market, is organized by Our Daily Bread Food Pantry and the Marco Island Center for the Arts. It will be held at Veteran’s Community Park on Saturday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The market aims to recreate the atmosphere of traditional European holiday villages, featuring artisan vendors selling handmade jewelry, home décor, crafts, and other unique gifts. Attendees can also expect food offerings from local vendors, activities for children, and live holiday music throughout the weekend.
Proceeds from the event will support both organizing groups’ missions. Our Daily Bread Food Pantry provides food assistance through various programs in Marco Island six days a week, including appointments, deliveries, Saturday distributions, mobile pantries and school-based initiatives. The Marco Island Center for the Arts hosts art exhibitions and educational programs while supporting artists through events and performances.
“This event is a celebration of community, creativity, and the joy of the holiday season,” said Allyson Richards, President of the Board of Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. “We invite everyone to join us for a magical weekend that supports feeding both the body and the soul.”
Applications are currently open for artisan merchants interested in participating as vendors at the market. Booth spaces are available for $125 for a standard setup or $50 for table-only spaces under tents. Organizers recommend early applications as space is limited and filled on a first-come basis.
