Marcus & Millichap hires Max Beyderman; other real estate firms announce new appointments

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. According to the company, Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across various asset classes. Beyderman previously worked independently as a commercial finance specialist over the past year, following an 18-year tenure as managing director at Meridian Capital Group.

Origin Construction, based in Miami, has named Thomas Burkett as chief financial officer. Burkett most recently served as CFO at Butters Group for five months and was previously senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for nearly four years.

Brown Harris Stevens has expanded its team in Miami-Dade County by adding several agents. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini have joined the Miami Beach office, while Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales are now part of the South Miami office. In May, David Deza was brought on as managing director of the office and has since led recruitment efforts for Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami locations.
