Palm Beach County condo sales remain steady as prices rise

Palm Beach County’s condominium market remained steady last week, with brokers closing 64 condo sales totaling $31.4 million between August 11 and August 17. This matches the previous week’s dollar volume, though two fewer units were sold compared to the prior period.

The average sale price for condos increased to $491,305 from $413,454 the week before. The average price per square foot also rose to $328 from $278, according to Redfin data.

Among the top transactions, unit 1708 at Toscana South in Highland Beach was the highest-priced sale at $2.8 million, or $985 per square foot. Judith Randon of Judith Randon Realty and Nancy Ghen of Coldwell Banker Realty represented the listing, while Jonathan Lewis of Elite Realty of South Florida brought the buyer.

Unit 3102 at Havn Residences & Yacht Club in Palm Beach Shores secured the second-highest closing at $2.5 million, or $939 per square foot. Thomas Murray and Alyssa Ward with Compass had the listing; Jade Mather with Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer.

Other notable deals included a unit at Chalfonte in Boca Raton that sold for $1.71 million ($1,181 per square foot) and a unit at Jupiter Country Club in Jupiter that closed for $717,500 ($338 per square foot).
