Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Panama City Beach, Florida, is introducing a new holiday-themed performance for the upcoming season. The show, which begins on November 6 and runs through January 3, 2026, will feature Captain Blackbeard and his crew as they search for a lost treasure of Christmas gifts.
Dolly Parton commented on the launch of the new show: “I’ve always said I love mixing my pirates’ ‘Yo Ho’ with a little holiday ‘Ho Ho Ho!’ Bringing Pirates Voyage to Panama City Beach was another dream come true, and now we’re decking the decks for my favorite time of year. This new holiday show is full of laughs, adventure and just the right touch of Christmas magic. So come enjoy great food and fun and start a brand-new tradition with us—it’s a Holly Dolly, Jolly Roger Christmas like no other!”
The storyline centers around a mysterious traveler in red who arrives at Buccaneer Bay only to discover that his satchel of gifts has disappeared on Christmas Eve. Captain Blackbeard and first mate Calico Jack lead an effort to recover the missing presents before midnight. Audience members are encouraged to participate alongside the Crimson and Emerald pirate crews as they try to save Christmas. As part of the narrative, Captain Blackbeard dons the traveler’s red coat and learns about the meaning of Christmas during a live Nativity segment.
The show also includes acrobatics performed by pirate crews above Buccaneer Bay, as well as appearances from comedic characters such as a castaway and her sea lion companion. Before each main performance, guests can visit Pirates Village where children can dress up as mermaids or pirates.
A four-course meal is served during each show, starting with Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup and Buccaneer Biscuit, followed by roasted chicken, pulled pork, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, dessert options including apple pie or chocolate coconut cake, and unlimited beverages. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available upon request.
