SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream event has been recognized as one of the top Halloween experiences in the United States. According to USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, Howl-O-Scream was ranked among the Top 5 Best Theme Park Halloween Events nationally and named the leading Halloween event in Florida.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando. The event introduces a new character, Havoc, who is described as “the face of fear at Howl-O-Scream.” Organizers say that Havoc will be featured in a new stunt show called Throttle, which includes motorcycles and fire effects.

To mark its national recognition, SeaWorld Orlando is offering a limited-time Slash Sale with tickets starting at $45.99 on select nights.

The event features five haunted houses—three of which are new this year—six scare zones, four thrill rides operating at night, two roaming groups of scare actors, five themed bars with specialty cocktails such as the Solar Flare Margarita, special food items like Spooky Teriyaki Chicken, and live entertainment including the debut of Throttle.

Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights through November 1, 2025, from 7 p.m. to midnight at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld describes itself as a marine life theme park and accredited zoo and aquarium focused on education and conservation efforts. The organization reports that it has welcomed millions of guests annually and supported marine animal rescue operations globally. A portion of proceeds from park operations goes toward supporting conservation initiatives through its non-profit foundation.
