The Tampa Convention Center has received the Most Innovative City Services Platform award from the 2025 International Explorer Awards. This is the fifth industry award that the center has won in 2025, reflecting its growing reputation as a key location for meetings, conventions, and events on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

According to the announcement, this international recognition points to the center’s approach to event management, guest experience, and operational practices. The facility underwent a $38 million renovation in 2023 aimed at enhancing its services and technology offerings.

“This recognition adds to an already remarkable year of success for the Tampa Convention Center. The facility has now earned five prestigious awards in 2025, including honors from ConventionSouth Magazine, the Northstar Stella Awards, Tampa’s Best Awards, Smart Meetings, and Exhibitor Magazine,” the release stated.

The statement continued: “Each award underscores the center’s ongoing reputation as one of the top convention centers in the United States, attracting event professionals, associations, and corporate meetings from across the globe.”

Located in downtown Tampa with over 600,000 square feet of waterfront event space, the center provides access to nearby hotels and entertainment options for visitors planning conferences or trade shows.
