Police in Tampa are investigating a homicide that occurred on the afternoon of November 27, 2025. Officers responded to a call about a shooting at the 4100 block of Charter Oak Court around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an adult male who had been shot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to early findings, there was a physical altercation between two individuals who knew each other before the shooting took place. The person suspected of firing the shot stayed at the location and was detained by police.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have stated that more information will be released as it becomes available.

“Updates will be provided as the investigation develops,” according to the Tampa Police Department.
