Tampa Police investigate fatal shooting on E Citrus Circle

Police in Tampa are investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of September 1. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 7:26 p.m. in the 4700 block of E Citrus Cir.

Upon arrival, police found an adult Black male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe those involved knew each other and do not consider this to be a random incident. The investigation is ongoing as detectives follow leads.

The Tampa Police Department is asking anyone with information about the case to call 813-231-6130 or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS.
