Tampa Police are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred at a residence on the 2400 block of W Texas Avenue. Officers responded to the scene at around 12:54 p.m. and found an adult woman and an adult man, both deceased.

According to the preliminary investigation, detectives believe the man shot the woman before dying from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities indicated that early information suggests the two individuals were in a relationship.

The case remains under active investigation, and police stated that further updates may be provided as more details become available.
